My character in my pixel drawing is an Alien from Space Invaders, the object is the Tank. I have used two different green coloured pencils to make the edges of the Alien stand out. I have also done this with the eyes, using a black coloured pencil, darkening them. Anyone who views the image will be drawn to the eyes straight away.The Tank has a mixture of both light green and a bluish green. The colours have been shaded together to make it look nice and appealing to the eye. Due to it being more darker around the edges it shares the same concept as the Alien.
I think the image of the Alien is quite accurate to the reference image, apart from the bottom being slightly cut off in the drawing, however the Tank has been altered slightly. The width of the tank on the reference image has been changed in the drawing to be made wider to allow the bullet to fit and not look out of place.I chose Space Invaders because of its simplicity and also how widely its known around the world. Its simplistic design is unique.
